The Future of Storytelling

JOIN OUR WORKSHOP ON 29 MAY @ PIXEL STUDIOS

Amid the explosion of services like Netflix, Hulu and other new specialty subscription on demand services, we ask the all-important question: What is the future of linear TV? How is its definition changing? And what does that mean for content creators and broadcasters?

Come hear from industry insiders on the hybrid TV environment, where traditional and internet content are made accessible seamlessly via the same set-top box. What kind of content and new trends of storytelling appeal to a digital native audience? With an increasing appetite for stories within our region, how can we create “glocal” content and push the envelope of Southeast Asian productions?

Be inspired by fresh ideas from a breed of promising, budding filmmakers and hear from experienced industry veterans who will be sharing practical production handles and stories of what goes behind the scenes in creating good international content. This workshop is organized by Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific in partnership with the Info-communications Media Development Authority of Singapore.
